Summary
From 1990 to 2012, the world witnessed a dramatic decline in the deaths of children under the age of five, yet millions of children remain at risk for dying from preventable causes. UNICEF now estimates that as many as 35 million more children may die between 2015 to 2028 from mostly preventable causes if immediate actions are not taken. This Forum examined the painstaking but crucial steps that can be taken to save generations of these most vulnerable children.
