Scientists and doctors are working to understand “long COVID” — a lingering range of symptoms that persists in some people after they have initially recovered from COVID-19 illness. In this live online Q&A, Andrew Chan from MGH, Harvard Chan School, and Harvard Medical School described what we know about long COVID. Included was a discussion about the COVID Symptom Study app, which helps researchers track the onset and progression of symptoms that are self reported by users. Dr. Chan joined The World’s Elana Gordon for this live online Q&A.
