Andrew Freedman

Mr. Freedman was a panelist for the Forum’s discussion on Marijuana: The Latest Scientific Findings and Legalization and Recreational Marijuana and CBD.

Andrew Freedman served as Director of Marijuana Coordination for the State of Colorado. He worked with the Attorney General’s Office and the Departments of Revenue, Public Health & Environment, and Agriculture to ensure Colorado’s regulations are aligned, efficient, enforceable, and in the best interest of public health and public safety.

He served as the administration’s spokesperson for its most reported-on initiative. He has been featured by 60 Minutes, NBC Nightly News, The Today Show, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, and dozens of other national and international news outlets.

Andrew holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in philosophy and political science from Tufts University.
