I manage the data team at the City Health Dashboard, an RWJ funded data access website. I am a an experienced professor and freelance public health journalist. My writing has appeared on OZY, Buzzfeed, and Al Jazeera America, among others.
I have a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University and a PhD in public health from NYU, where I specialized in neighborhood health research using geospatial and spatiotemporal geographic methods. I have skills in data science, management, and analysis, epidemiology, and GIS, among others. Otherwise I am a rugby player and endurance athlete, coaching beginner athletes to reach their fitness goals. I also love to cook!
