Daniel Ramos

Mr. Ramos was a panelist for the Forum’s discussion on Extreme Hurricanes.

Daniel Ramos works for the Puerto Rico Primary Health Care Association as a Health Institutions Specialist. He partners with government agencies and nonprofits including Puerto Rico Department of Health, University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus, the Comprehensive Cancer Center of Puerto Rico, the Department of Agriculture and the Migrant Clinician Network.

Mr. Ramos is also part of an emergency preparedness initiative and is certified in Mental Health, First Aid, CMS Emergency Preparedness, and additional FEMA certifications.

He is a graduate of University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus where he earned a Master’s in Public Health. Additionally he joined Stanford University as a certified Master Trainer in chronic disease. He serves as an Asthma instructor for the University of Puerto Rico and for the Department of Health.
