Dr. Halprin was a panelist for the Forum’s discussion on The Diabetes Epidemic.
Elizabeth Halprin, M.D., is Clinical Director of Adult Diabetes and Member of the Joslin Latino Diabetes Initiative and the Diabetes in Pregnancy Program. Dr. Halprin is an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
She graduated from the Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas in Havana, Cuba, where she finished with highest honors. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge, Mass. and her fellowship in endocrinology, metabolism and nutrition at Boston Medical Center/Boston University. Dr. Halprin has been at Joslin Clinic since August 2000.
