Dr. Delmonico was a panelist for the Forum’s discussion on Organ Transplantation.
Dr. Delmonico has served as New England Organ Bank’s Chief Medical Officer since 1995. He is a professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School and emeritus professor of renal transplantation at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He serves as an advisor to the World Health Organization on international transplant issues and is Executive Director, Declaration of Istanbul Custodian Group. He has served terms as President of both the United Network for Organ Sharing and The Transplantation Society.
