Gideon Gil was the moderator for the Forum’s discussion on Opioid Painkiller Abuse.
Gideon Gil has been the health and science editor since 2003. His staff has won numerous national awards, including the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for explanatory journalism. He previously was a medical reporter and editor at The Courier-Journal in Louisville, Ky. He studied biochemistry at Harvard College and journalism at Columbia University.
