Kenneth Mayer

Dr. Mayer was a panelist for the Forum’s discussions on Treatment as Prevention and Health in the LGBTQ Community.

Kenneth Mayer is Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School; Professor, Department of Global Health and Population, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health; Director of HIV Prevention Research and Attending Physician, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center; Adjunct Professor of Medicine and Community Health, Brown University.

His areas of research include international HIV/AIDS, gay and bisexual men’s health, HIV/AIDS prevention, microbicides, PrEP, PEP, vaccines, secondary prevention, HIV/AIDS treatment, antibiotic use and molecular epidemiology of antibiotic resistance.
