Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus

Dr. Adhanom Ghebreyesus was a panelist for the Forum’s discussion on Health Leadership Around the World.

Dr. Adhanom Ghebreyesus has served as Minister of Health for the Federal Republic of Ethiopia since 2005. He is widely regarded for leading a process of systems wide health reforms that have substantially improved access to health services and key outcomes. Dr. Adhanom Ghebreyesus is a past Board Chair of the Global Fund Against HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria; the Partnership for Maternal, Neonatal Clinical Health; and the Roll Back Malaria initiative. Dr. Adhanom Ghebreyesus is a PhD graduate of the University of Nottingham.
